Privacy Policy

Signing in to MINT uses an email magic link — you give us your email address, we send you a one-time sign-in link. There are no passwords to create, and MINT never asks for one.

Your profile is what you choose to put on it: a handle, a display name, a bio, an avatar, a banner image, and optionally a location. If you sell physical pieces, you can add a PayPal email and payout currency so buyers can pay you — the PayPal email is not shown on your public profile and is only revealed to a signed-in buyer at checkout for an active listing.

Everything you post — posts, comments, calls, listings, listing photos, and messages in crews or with buyers and sellers — is content you created and gave to the platform to display.

If you connect a Solana wallet, MINT sees only your public wallet address. MINT never asks for, receives, or stores your seed phrase or private keys, and never takes custody of your wallet or its contents. Connecting a wallet is read-and-sign only: your wallet software holds the keys, and you approve every transaction yourself.

You can link your wallet address to your profile; if you do, that address becomes part of your profile data.

When you buy a physical piece on MINT, your payment goes directly from you to the seller through PayPal. MINT does not hold, route, or take custody of your money at any point. What MINT records is the fact of the sale: the listing, the price, and a PayPal order reference so the purchase can be tied to the listing it paid for.

Your dealings with PayPal itself — the payment details you use there — are between you and PayPal, under PayPal's own privacy policy.

Market trades on MINT can be recorded on the Solana blockchain. Blockchains are public by design: anyone can view a wallet address and its transaction history, with or without MINT, and information written to a blockchain generally cannot be removed or altered once recorded. Treat on-chain activity as permanent and public.

MINT runs on Solana mainnet. Transactions you make involve real assets and are recorded on a public blockchain.

MINT runs an optional feedback survey at /feedback. This is product feedback and customer research — we're asking the people MINT is for what they actually need. It is not scientific, academic or clinical research: there is no ethics approval, no institutional affiliation, and no study you are being enrolled in.

Taking part is voluntary. If you do, a response may include:

• Your answers to the survey questions.
• Which category you said you fall into — shopper, enthusiast, collector, reseller, store, or something else.
• Anything you write in the free-text questions.
• If you told us you work at a store: your answers about buying and stock decisions, and optionally a store name and a broad store type. We don't ask for an address or for anyone's name.
• Optional contact details — an email address and/or an Instagram handle — but only if you asked to hear from us.
• Which version of the survey you answered, when you submitted it, and a short internal label for where the link came from (for example, handed out in a store or at an event).

You can complete the survey anonymously. It requires no account and no sign-in, and if you leave the contact questions blank we have no way to identify you from the response. A response is not connected to any MINT account, even if you happen to have one.

Contact details, when you give them, are stored in a separate table from your survey answers. To be plain about what that does and doesn't mean: it keeps personal details out of the day-to-day research data, but the two records are still linked, so a response with an email attached is not anonymous and we do not claim otherwise. Contact details are used only for the follow-up you asked for — testing future versions of MINT.

Feedback is used to understand what people want and to improve MINT. Survey responses are not sold to advertisers and are not used for behavioural advertising or ad targeting. Detailed responses are restricted to authorised MINT administrators; they are not public, and other users cannot see them.

MINT does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics services. What's collected automatically is limited to what it takes to run the product:

• Basic technical information your browser sends with every request (such as IP address, browser and device type), which our hosting and database providers process to serve the site and keep it secure.
• An authentication session kept in your browser so you stay signed in between visits.
• Local storage on your own device for app state — things like which wallet you last connected, interface preferences, and votes you've cast. This data lives in your browser, not on our servers.
• Standard server and error logs, used to diagnose problems and protect against abuse.

Information is used to:

• Sign you in and keep your account working.
• Display your profile, posts, calls, listings, and market activity to other people, as the product is designed to do.
• Connect buyers and sellers and record marketplace sales.
• Show market data, leaderboards, and call track records that are built from platform activity.
• Keep the service secure and diagnose problems.

MINT does not sell your personal information and does not use it for third-party advertising.

MINT is a social product, and much of it is public by design. Other people can see:

• Your profile — handle, display name, avatar, banner, bio, and location if you added one.
• Your posts, comments, and calls, including when you made them.
• Who you follow and who follows you.
• Your public listings and their photos.
• Your closet, if you've set it to public.
• Activity tied to a wallet address you've linked, which is publicly visible on the blockchain regardless of MINT.

Think before you post — content shared publicly can be seen, saved, and reshared by others.

MINT is built on a small number of infrastructure providers, each of which processes some data to do its job and has its own privacy practices:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your account data and content live here.
• Vercel — web hosting. Serves the site and processes standard request logs.
• PayPal — payments between buyers and sellers. MINT never sees or stores your payment card details.
• The Solana network and your wallet provider — on-chain activity and wallet connections. Your wallet software is chosen and controlled by you.

Product photography shown on MINT may be loaded from third-party image services, which receive standard image requests from your browser.

Account data and content are kept while your account exists and for as long as they're needed to run the service. Information recorded on a public blockchain is outside anyone's ability to delete.

MINT uses reasonable safeguards to protect your information — including row-level access controls on the database and keeping payment and key material out of our hands entirely (PayPal handles payments; your wallet holds your keys). That said, no online system can guarantee complete security, and you should never share your seed phrase or sign-in link with anyone.

• Edit your profile at any time — handle, display name, bio, avatar, banner, and payout details are all yours to change or clear in Settings.
• Control your closet's visibility with the public/private setting.
• Disconnect your wallet whenever you like — MINT only ever had the public address.
• Choose what you post. Public content is public; if you wouldn't want it seen, don't share it.

MINT is not directed at children, and you should only use it if you're old enough to enter into these kinds of services under the laws where you live.

As MINT develops, this policy will change with it. When it does, the “Last updated” date at the top will change too, and meaningful changes will be flagged rather than slipped in quietly.
